Hear speakers on the topic -
"Be Prepared: Preventing Disasters/Planning for Recovery"
Natural events or manmade disasters usually come with little or no warning. Earthquakes, tsunamis, levee breaks/water shortage, no oil are all potential threats. For this year’s forum speakers will be invited to discuss preparing for emergencies, managing recovery as well as any special considerations due to our proximity to LAX and the ports.
For the past 12 years the South Bay Cities Council of Governments has brought together elected officials, city staff, city commissioners, community and business leaders, and the public at the Annual General Assembly, where issues of importance to the South Bay are brought to the forefront.
